Promoting Natural Parenting and Supporting Healthy Childhood Development
Cupertino, April 10, 2025 — QisClinic successfully held its first Pediatric Tuina Public Workshop today, with the aim of promoting the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in natural parenting and equipping parents with simple, practical tools for supporting their children’s health and wellness. The event was warm, engaging, and well-received by the enthusiastic parents in attendance.
The event was opened by clinic director Ms. Jingjing, who shared the vision behind the workshop—to empower more families with natural, scientific, and gentle parenting methods rooted in the wisdom of Chinese medicine, and to support children’s healthy development through preventative care.
The workshop’s featured speaker, Ms. Zhou Dan, head of the pediatric Tuina program, provided a clear and practical overview of common childhood health conditions, the benefits of pediatric Tuina, and hands-on demonstration techniques. She emphasized the importance of early observation—encouraging parents to recognize subtle signs in their children’s health in order to prevent illness before it starts. Drawing from her own parenting journey, Ms. Zhou shared actionable techniques for addressing common issues such as colds and indigestion using Tuina massage. She encouraged parents to learn this safe, simple, and time-efficient skill as a daily tool for family health care.
The clinic’s founder, Dr. Xuehong Fan, also joined the workshop to share his insights. As a descendant of Qing Dynasty imperial physician Huang Yuanyu, Dr. Fan upholds the philosophy of “Medicine and Tao as One, Treating the Person as a Whole.” He introduced the AI-powered Pediatric Tuina Self-Care System, developed by QisClinic, which uses the principle of “One Qi Circulation” to help parents better understand their child’s constitution and receive personalized Tuina recommendations. Dr. Fan emphasized that QisClinic was founded with the mission of activating the body’s innate healing power through traditional medicine—helping people get sick less, or not at all.

QisClinic remains committed to sharing traditional Chinese medicine culture and believes that “the best healing starts at home.” Going forward, the clinic will continue to host public pediatric Tuina events, bringing practical health knowledge and professional support to more families. We believe that when parents are empowered with the right tools, and healing hands are guided by love, children can grow up healthier and happier.
